Art, creativity and imagination have been a natural part of my world from an early age, nurtured by both my family and the environment I grew up in. Coming from a lineage with a long tradition in tailoring, I was surrounded by design and learned early to notice detail, texture and form. I first expressed this through fashion sketching, then portrait drawing, before gradually turning fully towards painting. Alongside painting, my professional background has strengthened my sense of discipline, consistency and long-term growth.
This journey has shaped my perspective, while allowing me to refine who I am as an artist. Through extensive experimentation, I have developed a distinctive technique that has become the signature of my work.
In my artwork, I embrace two complementary expressions of my artistic identity. My more colourful pieces bring energy, warmth, optimism and add brightness to my work. My dark-toned works carry elegance and strength. Together, these two expressions exist as two sides of one connected world.
New perspectives on the nature of the world, and on Nature itself, have become a profound influence, one that I came to fully appreciate only later, as I understood how deeply they shape the way I see the world. Nature’s presence remains deeply rooted in my inspiration, and Impressionism, especially in its ability to capture movement and the present moment, naturally resonates with my artistic approach.
Another defining element in my work is Time. I now perceive time differently than I once did. Its presence often emerges in my paintings, which is why one of my collections carries the title Hour, as a tribute to time itself as one of our most valuable dimensions. The notion of time is also reflected in the technique I have developed, where each movement expresses the gradual passage of time and the patience it requires.
